2010 ORLANDO TRIP INFO
The trip will cost $810 if we have at least 90 people going ($830 if we have between 80 - 89). As of 8/27/09 we have 87 planning to go on the trip. Cost for adults is the same as students. Parents are welcome to come!
The payment schedule would be roughly:
Payment 1 ($200) - September 30
Payment 2 ($200) - November 18
Payment 3 ($200) - January 20
Payment 4 ($230) - March 17
A letter will be available at marching band rehearsal this week regarding the Orlando trip. This letter will have a portion that needs to be returned to Mr. Cassell. We will know if the trip is going to happen or not BEFORE we leave for band camp. The amount of participation will determine if we are going to Orlando.
2010 ORLANDO TRIP INFO - Itinerary
DCI (Drum Corps International)
Shows in our area in 2010! Ticket info is not yet available, but you can usually get good seats for right around $20. Everyone in marching band should attend at least one DCI event in the summer to charge you up for the season!
JUNE 24 - TOLEDO
Scheduled groups include: Blue Coats, Crossmen, Glassmen, Phantom Regiment, Pioneer & Teal Sound
JULY 10 - KALAMAZOO
Scheduled groups include: Blue Stars, Blue Coats, Boston Crusaders, Capital Regiment, Carolina Crown, Cavailers, Colt Cadets, Crossmen, Legends, Madison Scouts, Phantom Regiment, Pioneer, Spirit & Teal Sound.
The marching band show for 2009 is, "NIGHT WATCH."
This year we not only have a full schedule of football games, parades & competitions - but we are planning on a trip to Orlando, Florida in April 2010!
